Allied Telesyn’s AT-2900 series of 10/100/1000 PCI
Gigabit Ethernet adapters are designed to match the high
bandwidth server and switch connections available in
today’s sophisticated network environments. By providing
ten times the speed of traditional Fast Ethernet adapters,
the AT-2900 series can instantly and cost-effectively
improve applications response, server reliability, and
network scalability.
APPLICATION FLEXIBILITY
The standards-based AT-2900 series is designed for the
64bit/66MHz bus system,which combines the largest data
path with the fastest possible data transfer. The AT-2930
series is also fully compatible with legacy 32 bit and
33MHz buses, making them fully back-wards compatible
with Ethernet or Fast Ethernet LANs.
VALUE TO THE DESKTOP
Designed to support only the 32bit PCI bus, the AT-2915T
provides all the features and functionality of the AT-2930
cards at a fraction of the cost. Complete driver compati-
bility and full feature set makes the AT-2915T the little
brother that the AT-2930 family has always wanted.
RICH FUNCTIONALITY
The AT-2900 series combines high performance with rich
functionality. Full duplex flow control, Plug-and-Play
autoconfiguration and a 48KB internal packet buffer
memory are supported by 802.1Q VLAN tagging for up to
64 VLANs and 802.1p Layer 2 priority tagging.
COPPER OR FIBER
Designed for both copper and fiber networks, the AT-
2900 can be rapidly deployed for immediate perform-
ance improvements.For the most cost-effective upgrades
to an existing copper LAN backbone, the AT-2930T will
meet the challenge. For designs that require the distance
benefits of fiber, the AT-2930SX delivers Gigabit connec-
tivity at distances from 220m to 550m.
