a wireless network with the ease of installation for a tradi-
tional USB device. This unit is compatible with wireless
inbuilding local area networks that are proliferating in
general enterprise office computing, small office/home
office, residential consumer, and public space markets.
Connectivity is offered when and where you need it. The
AT-WRUSB provides reliable performance without wires.
Automatic rate selection dynamically supports 1, 2, 5.5,
11Mbps for maximum availability and reliability of net-
work connections. The proper data rate is determined
automatically permitting robust connectivity.
Instead of using traditional cabling to create a network,

to experience the many benefits of wireless LANs by
allowing them to:
• Provide network access in hard to wire locations

rooms and public areas
Ensurehassle-free connectivity in spaces
that are frequently reconfigured
The AT-WRUSB enables a variety of Mobile LAN resources
such as access to e-mail,the Internet, and library databas-
es.It enables peer-to-peer communications between
portables in a wireless LAN.In public spaces, the tech-
nology will let users access the Internet remotely using
their home or office ISP accounts. Without the burden of
cabling, you will enjoy unprecedented freedom to move
about the home, office, classroom,or public space.
The AT-WRUSB offers standards based compatibility by
complying with IEEE 802.11b 11Mbps and 5.5Mbps
standard and IEEE 802.11 Direct Sequence Spread
Spectrum (DSSS) 1Mbps and 2Mbps standard. By
conforming to the IEEE 802.11b standard, it ensures
